Onchain OS provides an HTTP-native payment solution built on the x402 on-chain payment protocol. It supports two integration methods: AI Agent conversational interaction and Open API.

Use Cases#

1. I'm a Seller — Monetizing Paid Resources#

I offer an API or MCP service and want clients or AI Agents to pay directly upon each call. Depending on my business needs, I can choose different settlement methods:

• Synchronous settlement — After the user pays, the server waits for on-chain confirmation before returning the resource. Best suited for one-off calls, high-value, and low-frequency payment scenarios.
• Asynchronous settlement — After the user pays, the server returns the resource immediately while on-chain confirmation completes in the background. Best suited for high-frequency, low-value payment scenarios.

2. I'm a Buyer — Paying for Resources#

My AI Agent needs to purchase a merchant's service to complete a task. Simply install the Agentic Wallet and paid services are automatically supported.
